The food, the weather, the views in Palm Springs...all incredible and exactly what I needed to decompress from work and so forth. Staying at the most hipster hotel on the planet helped too. And can I just say, offering free bike rentals to their guests is a genius move. We took turns with our friends, Runi and Thomas, riding the tandem and cruisin' the posh neighborhoods of Palm Springs like nobody's business...

Saw this video earlier today and just could not resist re-posting. It's a recreation of the 2008 Wimbledon final between Nadal and Federer, but in paper form (complete with sounds/noises from the game)! It's insanely creative...and in case you didn't know, I am a HUGE fan of tennis (blame my dad & sister)...even though I am the most uncoordinated person on the planet and can't play the sport myself...

duck pond

Happy Friday! A few days ago, Kyle and I stumbled upon the cutest duck pond ever. There were so many different kinds, in all shapes and sizes. Our favorite duck was a brown and white one that honked at us the entire time. While we didn't have anything to feed them at first, we returned after a quick meal at Chuy's and gave them our leftover tortillas...which they seemed to really enjoy.

Having been a favorite of Jeana Sohn's Closet Visit series for some time now, I was delighted to see her move into the film space! Her aesthetic is so pretty and fresh...you can't help but fall in love with each person simply from her photos. It also makes me really want to invest in some long-term fashion pieces for my own closet...
