succulent love

Now all I can think about is how much I want to decorate the entire house with little succulents everywhere. They are so simple yet stunning to look at...not to mention easy to take care of (a BIG plus for me!).

P.S. Thanks for all of your kind words about our house and our photos! It means a lot to me :)

terrarium lamp

Love the idea of creating a 'faux terrarium' lamp...it adds such an organic, whimsical feel to any space. Would be perfect for anyone who is missing the green thumb gene (ie. ME).

sublet eco-apparel

How fantastic are these pieces by Sublet Clothing? Based in New York, their philosophy is to only use sustainable materials, practices and processes in making their clothing. I have to admit, usually when I think of 'eco-friendly' clothing I think plain and boring...but these pieces are anything but (try super girly and adorable). I am loving the simple sillouettes and all of those small details...especially that little bow shirt!

summer of love bag

I just love silkscreened canvas bags, especially this eco-friendly one. You can use them for anything - day trips to the beach, grocery shopping, library book holding (currently I'm lugging around this one as my work laptop bag...yeah, probably not a smart idea if I drop it). Here's to what's left of summer!

treehouse

Wouldn't it be so amazing to live in a treehouse? Just think of all the adventures...oh how I loved that movie, Swiss Family Robinson!

In celebration of Earth Day...cute little succulents in vintage cups and tins that even I can take care of...well, supposedly...

green house

I've always wanted to live in an ivy house. Kyle and I know of one downtown and we always like to imagine a little hobbit living there :)
Hope you have a relaxing weekend!

a secret garden

For Valentine's Day this year, I gave Kyle a little moss terrarium from madebymavis. It was so cute I almost wanted to keep it for myself...but then I remembered that I've killed just about every plant I've ever owned. Luckily for the moss, Kyle has the green thumb gene.
