Haha, my head is still spinning from this week, how about you?:) But I'm super excited for the long weekend and for some much needed r&r. We plan on watching this movie tonight (love Simon Pegg) and grilling some hatch chile burgers at home tomorrow...hope you all have a nice weekend!

I had to look twice after seeing these prints...since they reminded me of this...but wow, how fascinating that the artist uses plastic animals and dollhouse furniture to create them. Made me smile:)

Gorgeous handmade paper garlands by Kaye Blegvad...they would look so pretty hanging over a bed. This particular one would be perfect for a boy's room.

Now that we've evolved into a two dog family, I've been on the hunt for comfy dog beds that mesh well with the rest of our home. Is it just me or are 99% of dog beds absolutely hideous? Found these after doing a quick search on Apartment Therapy...love the neutral colors and the heart-shaped shrimp pillow especially.

Now if only a certain puppy would hurry up with his potty training...

a day at the zoo

I don't think you can ever be too old for the zoo...at least not for Kyle and I, judging by how much fun we had at the Fort Worth Zoo a few weeks ago! We saw so many amazing animals from all over...and no offense to the Dallasites out there, but it was infintely better than the Dallas Zoo (mainly because all of the animals had at least one other friend to keep them company). The MOLA (Museum of Living Art) was pretty amazing too and we certainly had fun playing around with the aquarium setting on my camera while we were there (as seen above from our creepy red faces). If you ever get a chance to visit, I highly recommend it!

duck pond

Happy Friday! A few days ago, Kyle and I stumbled upon the cutest duck pond ever. There were so many different kinds, in all shapes and sizes. Our favorite duck was a brown and white one that honked at us the entire time. While we didn't have anything to feed them at first, we returned after a quick meal at Chuy's and gave them our leftover tortillas...which they seemed to really enjoy.
