sad dog
Last week, Hallie was attacked by another dog on our street during one of our daily walks. The whole thing lasted only a few seconds, but she ended up having to get sutures and drains sewn into her. It was a very traumatic time for us but I'm happy to say that she's on the road to recovery. I'm amazed each day by just how brave she is...not to mention her ability to still look adorable, despite having to wear a "cone of shame". We have a follow up appointment with the vet later today, so please wish us luck!

Poor Hallie! I'm so glad she's OK. And she definitely does look adorable, even sporting a cone of shame!
So scary! I hope Hallie recovers quickly. :)
Helps that she got so much love over the past few days. That always helps with a speedy recovery. She's such a little sweetie!
Sharon, so sorry to hear about your dog's encounter. I wish Hallie a speedy recovery.
Hallie is a brave pup! Wishing her a speedy recovery!!
Thanks so much everyone, it really means a lot to me (and Hallie). Am happy to report that the follow up appointment at the vet went well. only 9 more days before her stitches are taken out!
Hallie looks cute in a lamp shade. Even so, I hope she gets it off soon.
