tokyo love

One of my favorite things about our trip to Japan was the incredible view of Tokyo that we saw from our hotel room each day. I seriously could not stop taking pictures of it...I loved how even though the skyline was always the same, the photos looked different from one another because they were taken at different times of the day. There was something so eerily beautiful about the city at 5:30 in the morning (thanks jet lag!). 

I have my lovely friend, Chiharu, for recommending the hotel to us...we can't say enough good things about it. If you're ever in Tokyo, you MUST stay there and see for yourself!

i'm back!

Even though I'm still so exhausted and recovering from jet lag (and a cold!), it feels so good to be home. Plus, we were beyond homesick for our little bulldog.

japan trip!

Kyle and I booked the flights for our vacation a few weeks ago...but it still felt mostly surreal considering we won't be going until this October. That is, until our guidebook came in the mail yesterday!!! We will be in Japan for 5 days, before heading up to Taiwan to see some family. I have a feeling I know what I'll be doing for about 99.9% of this weekend...have a great one!
