Ok not really, unless you count showing up at the newly opened In-N-Out here in Fort Worth at 10:30 in the morning. We figured no one would be hungry for burgers that early but we were wrong - it was already a packed house by the time we got there. Oh well, the burger was worth it.
My favorite evenings are the ones that I spend at home, cooking simple meals and hanging out with my husband. xo.
Kyle and I sent a variety of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams to our friends, Kevin and Joy, as a wedding present a few weeks ago (see wedding weekend here). With flavors such as strawberry buttermilk, salty caramel, and brown butter almond brittle, they all sounded pretty incredible. So far, we've heard good reviews...now I just need to find an excuse to order a pint for us to try...or maybe a few of their homemade macaroon ice cream sandwiches (um, amazing!!!):

Leave it to me to get sick in the middle of summer...never fails. I predict lots of naps and movie watching (or perhaps Project Runway?!) on the couch the next few days. Hope your weekend is much much better! :)

Pretty packaged soap for a great cause - for every bar of soap you buy, another will be donated to a child in need. Made of grapefruit, orange blossom and eucalyptus...I bet it smells delightful too.

These simple prints comparing France to New York are totally adorable and true...is it sad that even though I know it's an illustration, the baguette still made my mouth water?
This past Saturday, we met up with a bunch of other English bulldog owners at a nearby park for their monthly meetup. Even though this was Pancho's first time attending, it's like he knew immediately that these were his "peeps". Finally, friends that could play rough and that were built just like him! All of the people were super friendly and excited to be there...not to mention we had a blast meeting all of the bullies: Winston, Bowser, Daisy, Lily, Moe and Smedley - we'll see you all again next month! :)

Our dear friends, Runi and Thomas, stopped by for a quick visit on their way back to Austin yesterday...we always have way too much fun when we're all together, so of course I am beyond ecstatic that we just booked a couples trip to Palm Springs for later this fall. Lots of pool time and desert sunsets, here we come! Kyle and I also attempted to go mattress shopping for the first time...talk about pricey! Not to mention the sketchy mattress salesmen we spoke to and the scary factory/warehouse in the middle of nowhere...
I've been wanting a pair of of Swedish Hasbeens for awhile and now the sandals are on sale! Of course, because I have a history of indecisiveness, I don't know which color or style to choose because they are all so adorable.
