My little sister came to stay with us last week, where we had a blast doing what we normally do together - eating, shopping, watching random movies and sitting around and being indecisive (reminds me of this). We even exchanged presents early! She bought me the coolest, super rad-washed-out-neon-pink pants ever...gosh, that girl knows me too well. Can't wait to see her again this weekend...

Call me a late adopter or whatever, but I finally joined Pinterest over the weekend. I've been browsing other people's boards for months but now I finally understand just why it's so addicting. You should try it too...or send me yours if you already have one!

early christmas

I have a love/hate relationship with the weeks leading up to Christmas...along with the anticipation of much deserved time off comes the stress and pure madness of gift shopping and dealing with crowds. Which is why I am extremely thankful for two things this year: 1) Online shopping (2-3 packages delivered every day to the house for the past few weeks...no joke. The mailman must hate me) and 2) Celebrating Christmas early with Kyle's family in Graham this past weekend. Lots of rest and relaxation time for all...and an abundance of tree branches for Pancho:)

family portrait

A few months ago, we did a little family portrait session with Nessa, the most amazing photographer ever (she also shot our wedding photos). We strolled around one of our favorite spots in downtown Austin - South Congress - just the two of us + the pups. And even though I still miss Hallie like crazy, it makes me smile when I think back to this perfect day. 

P.S. Hallie and Pancho both got bacon flavored sno cones after our shoot...so I'm pretty sure they thought it was perfect too:)
