Eek! I am so excited for this weekend, I literally can't sit still! I think I squealed out loud too after checking the weather in Santorini for next week and seeing all those little suns!!!

under the covers

Sorry for the delay in posts recently...today was just one of those days where I wish I never got out of bed to begin with. Bleh. Do you ever feel like that?

I have been eating all kinds of berries lately...it's really hard for me to pick a favorite. Do you have one? Oh how I love summer...

Why hello, fabulous cruelty-free zebra rug...I love that you come in baby blue and houndstooth. Or I can even make you lime green if I wanted to.

happy friday
Happy Friday! Do you have any exciting weekend plans? With only two weeks left I am trying my best not to get overwhelmed by the amount of errands I still have to get done! One of them being figuring out what type of hairstyle I want for the wedding...while I love this vintage look, I am not sure if it's "me." Still pretty to look at though...

dachsund u.n.

Oh my gosh, is this not the cutest thing ever? Australian artist, Bennett Miller, has built a scale replica of a former U.N. office in the Melbourne Museum plaza...only instead of human delegates he uses live dachsunds. His performance piece acts as a "meditation on the utopian aspirations of the Commission on Human Rights, and our capacity as humans to imagine and achieve a universal system of justice."
According to Miller, he chose dachsunds for their similarities to humans: "They have their own racial diversity - black, brown, red. Also, even though they're restricted in their movement, they are quite determined and proud."
I would give anything to see them during one of their performances! And how funny is it that some of the dogs even look like the actual representatives from each country?! See more photos here.
P.S. I like how the US 'rep' is looking extra chubs...figures :)

eyebrow house

What a cute little bungalow in Portland...I like that it is both traditional and modern at the same time. And don't even get me started on the name (it's called an "Eyebrow House"!!!). I've always wanted to visit Portland too. I have heard it is the best place to visit if you like food trailers :)

starfish earrings
I adore these starfish earrings...the fact that they are vintage clip-ons only make them that much more special...

food cards

Cute illustrated food cards by uccello curioso...I can't think of a better way to tell someone I love them than by sending them a card with my 2 favoritest foods ever...oh and this and this too.

carnival invitations

I am always impressed by just how creative wedding invitations can be sometimes...just look at these "carnival" themed ones from Thoughtful Day! Love the little pink and white striped bags...

happy bday little sis!
Happy Birthday Megan! I'm so proud to be your older sister...even if it sometimes feels like we are twins (hey, it's not my fault that we sound the same and can also read each other's minds). Thank you for keeping me sane through the whole wedding planning chaos (and through everything else in life). Love ya!

standing cat video
I have to say...this is a little weird yet fascinating at the same time. A cat that thinks he's a person! :)
